UK— A benchmark study that tracks consumer expectations for mobile shopping has made its debut via eDigitalResearch.

The mCommerce study assesses the consumer experience “from homepage to final product delivery” across 15 mobile websites from high profile brands.

In the inaugral study Play.com came first overall for navigation, design and click-through to purchase measures. Marks & Spencer came second followed by Amazon.

The survey used mystery shoppers who were equipped with ‘smart’ devices.
