Econsultancy launches survey of Australian digital marketing

AUSTRALIA— Digital marketing and e-commerce information site Econsultancy is launching a survey on the state of digital marketing in Australia.

The survey will look at how companies are using digital marketing technologies such as email, search marketing, social media, mobile and online advertising, how budgets are being allocated and issues involving skills, resources and knowledge.

Econsultancy senior analyst Jake Hird (pictured) said: “The development of Australian digital marketing and e-commerce is happening at a rapid rate, especially fuelled by consumer adoption of social and mobile technologies, and increasing penetration of high-speed internet. However, there’s a distinct lack of localised benchmark data around budgets, skills and channel knowledge – something that’s imperative for forming marketers’ future strategies and investments.”

The survey is being run in partnership with Marketing Magazine.
