JD Power and Better Business Bureau strike content sharing deal

US— The Better Business Bureau and JD Power & Associates have formed an online content sharing agreement to help consumers research and identify trustworthy businesses.

Visitors to the BBB site will be able to access reports on four million US businesses as well as viewing JD Power’s Power Circle Ratings, which are based on the opinions of consumers who have used a certain product or business.

Likewise, visitors to the JD Power site will be able to access free online tools to locate BBB Accredited Businesses, such as contractors and car dealers.

Peter Marlow, JD Power’s vice president and general manager of corporate communications and marketing, said: “At a time of heightened consumer sensitivity related to product and service quality and customer satisfaction, we are pleased to be working with BBB to bring trusted ratings and relevant ownership information to consumers.”
