EasyInsites scoops WHSmith panel task

UK— Custom panel provider EasyInsites has been appointed to create and manage an online sample for high street retailer WHSmith.

EasyInsites will use members of the WHSmith Privilege Club reward scheme as a source to build the new panel, which will go live in the autumn.

The firm said that by the time the panel launches it will have taken 15,000 names from the Privilege Club database, and further recruitment will eventually be carried out via the WHSmith website and in-store.

Neil Franklin, head of customer insights at WHSmith said: “Retail is a very dynamic but complex business environment, often requiring significant volumes of data to inform good decision-making. The creation of a WHSmith custom research panel will facilitate the collection of customer insights at pace.”

Once the panel is live it will be added to the Cint Panel Exchange, which gives third parties access to online panels around the world.
