CPB conducts marketing activities on behalf of the Californian prune industry. In a tender notice, the organisation says it is looking for firms that “have the ability to conduct research and evaluation either specialising in one particular market or across all countries simultaneously.

“Any interested candidates should prepare a proposal including company profile, experience in food accounts, experience in national surveys and field analysis and experience in market access programmes.”

CPB has asked for proposals to be submitted in writing by 10 March 2014. Click here for further details.

Working for the CPB would be a grape opportunity to gain insight into the currant state of the prune market.

I heard about this through my network of friends and associates. However I cant see on which point of the calendar the sumissions are due, I do hope they havent trimmed back (as you would with a plant) the information on that point - as this whole exercise would end up being entirely without purpose.

A one-off project wouldn't do it. You'd have to find a way to keep it regular.
