Dubai real estate developer Nakheel has adopted Vovici's customer experience measurement platform. Nakheel's marketing, sales and customer service director Manal Shaheen said the software is a “fundamental building block” for controlling consumer feedback processes.

Dechert-Hampe Consulting and Strategic Marketing Sciences are forming a consortium to conduct a research initiative to look at how the economic crisis affects consumer attitudes and behaviours. Studies will begin in March and will be conducted every six months over a two-year period. Recruitment is now open, with further details at emergingconsumerconsortium.com.

Panel provider Research Now has adopted Peanut Labs' Optimus digital fingerprinting tool. The system is designed to stop respondents from entering the same survey more than once. The firm already uses Optimus for its North American projects, and is now implementing it globally.

IFF Research has been commissioned by the UK's Learning and Skills Council to undertake a study assessing the Careers Advice Service. The research will take place over the next 18 months to look at users' satisfaction with the service and their progression into learning or work.

Online entertainment site Break Media has announced a relationship with online audience measurement firm Quantcast. The firm plans to provide demographic insights on its audiences to advertising clients.

KXEN, which produces data mining software, has announced new business with customers including Bank of America, Capital Card Services, Highmark and ING in the fourth quarter of 2008. The firm said it has also expanded relationships with existing clients La Poste, Overstock.com and Wells Fargo.

Malaysian mobile operator DiGi has selected Teradata's data warehousing platform to support its customer analysis. The platform enables analysis of customer call records and communications management.

The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) has selected Accenture and Information Resources Inc (IRI) to conduct a study of product life cycle management (PLM) strategies. The GMA said the tough economic conditions made it more important than ever for CPG firms to understand “what consumers will buy and why”.

Viacom has signed up to use ComScore's Video Metrix online video measurement service. ComScore said Viacom is the 100th client to subscribe, joining others such as CBS, Hulu, MySpace and NBC.

The airline BMI has selected iFly's loyalty solution to manage passenger loyalty programmes. The software will be used to run BMI's frequent flyer programme and customer relationship management activities.
