NBA signs up for TiVo’s television ratings

US— The NBA has signed up as the latest client of TiVo’s second-by-second TV ratings, which track live and time-shifted viewing among thousands of subscribers, to evaluate the 2008-09 season.

TiVo will provide a second-by-second analysis of viewing habits and commercial ratings for every primetime NBA game.

The NBA will also be using TiVo’s interactive advertising solutions to promote this year’s NBA Finals.

Mark Tatum, NBA’s executive vice president of marketing partnerships, said: “We are impressed with the power and impact of TiVo’s interactive advertising solutions and audience research.”
