More senior management changes for merged TNS and RI

TNS execs take the lion's share of top regional roles following Research International tie-up

UK-- A new global management set up has been announced for the merged TNS and Research International businesses – with the lion's share of regional leadership roles going to TNS executives.

TNS's David Kieselstein will continue as CEO for North America while RI's US boss Bridget Armstrong becomes executive vice president and consumer sector head in the US.

In Europe TNS's Judith Passingham will continue as CEO for the region with Denis Delmas, formerly TNS Europe deputy CEO, becoming deputy managing director. He will also be responsible for global marketing communications.

Changes to the management structure in the Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa region were announced on Friday, again with most of the top positions going to TNS personnel.

As reported at the time of the merger, RI's Bob Meyers will serve as chairman of the combined business, while TNS's Pedro Ros will be CEO and have day-to-day management of the firm.

Former Millward Brown chief financial officer Mike Gettle has been given the role of chief financial officer and chief operating officer. David Errington, formerly RI's worldwide finance director, will work under Gettle as global commercial director.

RI's global product development officer Kirk Ward becomes offer development and integration director, while TNS's Stephen Factor keeps his role as global head of the consumer sector.
