Monitor rolls-out web-based research analysis tool
Professional services firm Monitor Group is rolling-out its market research analysis software MarketSight, which it claims allows non-technical business users – as well as professional researchers – to “slice and dice” data in real time.
MarketSight is a web-based analysis application, producing charts and tables online which can then be downloaded and exported into presentation software, such as Microsoft's PowerPoint.
The software has been used by Monitor Group consultants in their work with clients for a number of years, but has now been made available to companies outside of Monitor's client base.
Berge Ayvazian, chief research officer for the Yankee Group said the software was “the first tool we've seen that really gives business users – the people closest to the business questions underlying the research – the ability to quickly conduct standard statistical tests, easily interpret the results and communicate their findings”.
