Harte-Hanks acquires data specialist Information Arts

US— Direct and targeted marketing agency Harte-Hanks has acquired UK-based database marketing and analytics firm Information Arts.

Information Arts was founded in 2000 and is based in High Wycombe. It will operate as a business unit within Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing under its current leadership of Simon Lawrence and Gary Selby.

It specialises in providing clients with marketing insight through a range of profiling, segmentation, modeling and other analytics techniques.

The two firms had already been working together since 2007 delivering a range of marketing services to clients such as Cisco.

Robert Howells (pictured) group managing director of Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing international businesses, said: “We believe that Information Arts is one of the best data analytics and insight companies in Europe, and we are delighted to have Simon and Gary on our team.”
