Deloitte buys Pathfinder Solutions to boost analytics offer

AUSTRALIA— Business and marketing insights firm Pathfinder Solutions has been bought by Deloitte, bolstering the accounting and consulting firm’s analytics and information management arm.
Pathfinder works across a wide range of industry sectors, providing data management, profiling, segmentation and predictive behavioural modelling services, among others.
The firm’s 15 staff will all join Deloitte, boosting the analytics division headcount to 170. Among the Pathfinders taking up new positions at Deloitte is company founder David McCloskey, who will continue to oversee the business while exploring new opportunities.
Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
