KENYA— Emerging markets research specialist D3 Systems has finalised the acquisition of a “significant” but unspecified share of the Nairobi-based business Infinite Insight.
The US company first decided to invest in Infinite Insight in August and D3 president David Jodice and vice president Matthew Warshaw joined the board of directors, alongside Infinite’s Margit Cleveland and Althea McCourt. Jane Delorie, a former Ipsos MD also joined the board in November.
In a statement, D3 said: “This investment substantially increases D3’s on-the-ground presence in the region and combines D3’s vast global capabilities with Infinite Insight’s breadth of experience in market, social, and media research across Africa.”
The two companies have already collaborated on two surveys of public opinion and media use in Kenya and South Sudan, results of which are due to be released soon.
