Kitelab makes Colombian move

US-- Kitelab, an agency specialising in research in Latin America and for the Hispanic population in the US, has acquired Colombian market intelligence firm Lechter Americas for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition extends Kitelab's operations in Latin America to Colombia, which president Manuel Barberena called “a very attractive market”.

Ilan Lechter, Lechter America's general manager, said the acquisition would benefit the firm's clients and help other companies in the Kitelab group.

Kitelab has offices in the US, Guatemala, Argentina, Mexico and now Colombia.
