Keynote launches tool to track iPhone usage
US-- Mobile and internet researcher Keynote Systems has launched a product specifically for measuring web behaviour among users of Apple's iPhone.
The company claims its new WebEffective tool will give researchers access to data on iPhone users' browsing habits, and “combine the behavioural aspects of clickstream analysis, the quantitative data of surveys and the qualitative feedback of usability labs.”
Keynote said that its tool differs from other survey products by tracking a user's behaviour as they complete a range of assigned tasks.
Dan Richards, senior product manager at Keynote, said: “Website operators and software developers are facing increased pressure to ensure ease-of-use and a positive end-user experience. There's no time for product experimentation; those that don't deliver will be left behind.”
