Kennedy named ABC research boss

Broadcaster appoints former Fox researcher Charles Kennedy to replace Michael Mellon

US-- Former Fox researcher Charles Kennedy has been appointed senior vice president of research at ABC Television.

He replaces Michael Mellon, who had been with the firm since December 2003 but has now stepped down.

Kennedy was most recently senior vice president of consumer insights at Connecticut-based social and marketing researcher DYG, and has also worked in research for Fox Broadcasting and other News Corp-owned channels.
