Kadence launches Asia healthcare division
Kadence is launching a dedicated healthcare division in Asia, to be headed by newly appointed associate director Katherine Byrne in Singapore.
Byrne has previously held healthcare positions at Research International and Isis China (now Synovate Healthcare) and has led projects covering vaccinations, chronic diseases, oncology and medical devices.
Simon Everard, CEO of the Kadence Group, said: “As business-to-business specialists, healthcare research fits well within our portfolio of industry specialisms. We look forward to expanding this practice throughout 2007 via the opening of Kadence offices in Kuala Lumpur and China.”
• PharmaTrials, a subsidiary of New Life Scientific specialising in clinical trials and healthcare market research, has announced plans to expand into Asia. The firm is looking at opportunities in China and Indonesia.
