Jeannie Arthur joins Verve as UK managing director
UK-- Verve Partners has announced that Jeannie Arthur has been appointed as a partner and UK managing director.
Arthur, who was previously managing director of FreshMinds Research, joins co-founders Andrew Cooper, Mike Hall and Jon Gumbrell at Verve.
She told Research: “I'm really, really excited, it's an incredible team we've got. The different experiences that we all bring mean we can take the best practice from lots of different industry leading companies and pull that together all in one place. We know what to do and what not to do, and it's about bringing all that together from day one.”
The firm plans to harness technology to allow clients to reduce their research and marketing spend “while ensuring the ever-changing customer voice is right at the heart of their business”.
As a new firm, Verve is well placed to put this fresh approach into practice, said Arthur. “It's about attracting and retaining excellent people, and harnessing technology to start off with and on an ongoing basis. Making sure we have technology at the heart of our business means we can enable good people to deliver good research. We're not going to be a straight MR consultancy that's purely about people.”
“We think clients do a whole lot of research now that if they used technology better, they wouldn't need to do. It's about buying cost-effective research from us but also savings that they can make in general.”
More partners and senior staff are due to come on board in the coming months, she said.
