Ipsos takes a Punto on Chilean loyalty firm
FRANCE-- Ipsos has acquired Chilean customer research agency Punto de Vista for an undisclosed amount.
Punto de Vista will keep its name and take over Ipsos Loyalty's activities in the country, Ipsos told Research.
Carlos Harding, Ipsos's chairman for Latin America, said: “Punto de Vista is a very well known and experienced company. Their expertise in continuous studies and their knowledge of the industry sectors they work in will leverage the Ipsos business capabilities in Chile where we are now the leading market research company.”
Punto de Vista's founder and main shareholder, Carlos Arentsen, will stay on as chairman.
He said: “To maintain our leadership in Chile and expand our success and product development in customer satisfaction we needed a strong and well known multinational partner. With Ipsos, we are now able to do this and also offer our customers the full range of their products.”
Punta de Vista was formed in 1990 and specialises in customer satisfaction and quality measurement services for the finance, retail and telecommunications sectors. It employs 62 people and reported revenue of €4.5m last year.
