iPerceptions ‘hits ground running' in Q1

Online customer satisfaction agency reports 35% hike in revenue

CANADA-- Customer satisfaction research agency iPerceptions has reported 35% growth in revenue for the first quarter of 2009.

The firm saw revenue rise to C$1.28m for the period compared to C$947,000 in the first quarter of 2008, while gross margin as a percentage of revenue was 62% from 48%.

Operating loss for the quarter was down from C$559,243 last year to C$395,623 but net loss rose slightly from C$543,615 to C$545,535.

Jerry Tarasofsky, iPerception's president and CEO, said: “Despite operating in one of the toughest economic climates in recent history, iPerceptions continues to power ahead.”

He said the firm had “hit the ground running” during the first quarter, which he attributed to a roster of high-profile clients including Avery Dennison, Forum Nokia, BMW Canada and Mini Canada and the growth of the 4Q online survey tool.

Tarasofsky said: “Our continued success boils down to one very simple formula: we help or clients to bridge the gap between the outcomes they are seeking from their websites and the tasks that their visitors are striving to accomplish. Time and again, we see that once this bridge has been built, the online channel flourishes.”
