InsightFarm ploughs new innovation path

Consumer strategist teams up with C&R Research in new venture

US-- Consumer strategist and author Kelley Styring, also principal of InsightFarm, has joined forces with research firm C&R Research to launch the InsightFarm Innovation Hothouse.

The Hothouse service measures consumer awareness of new products in the marketplace. It also measures a new product against key success criteria and diagnoses how they can be more powerfully presented to market.

Styring said: “Innovations come and go – capturing our attention and personalising the future that is unfolding before our very eyes. How are we to know as marketers what innovations are really storming the market and which are just hype? And, of those innovative products, which ones will be most likely to stick, grow, and develop into mainstays of the economy? The InsightFarm Innovation Hothouse is designed to answer these questions.”

Lisa Doyle, senior vice president at C&R, said: “We're focused on helping innovators engage with consumers and improve their product development process. The InsightFarm Innovation Hothouse can tell you what's working, what's not, and make recommendations on how you can make your innovation more successful.

A study for one product will cost $5,500, with additional products costing $2,500 each.
