Iconoculture offers social media analysis

New tool incorporates social media analysis into consumer trend tracking

US-- Trend researcher Iconoculture has launched a syndicated social media analysis product.

The product is available as an add-on to the firm's interactive online content source IconoIQ, and aims to combine social media analysis with the firm's expertise in emerging consumer trends.

The tool gathers data from tens of thousands of blogs, social networking sites, message boards and news outlets, which is then analysed by the firm's team.

Dan Frawley, CEO of Iconoculture, said: “By contextualising and integrating the social media data with data from other sources and methodologies and then translating it into actionable insight, our clients gain a real-time look at the ‘why' behind the ‘what'.”
