IAB Australia publishes draft metric guidelines

Bureau wants feedback on rules for quoting and using online audience data

AUSTRALIA-- The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia has published a draft paper setting out standards for how online audience measurement metrics are quoted and presented.

The paper can be downloaded here, and comments are invited until 13 March.

IAB Australia CEO Paul Fisher said: “A consistent approach to audience measurement is necessary for us to build upon our foundations and ensure the continued growth of online advertising.”

The paper details 16 guidelines for the use of online audience metrics around four key areas: sourcing, quoting reach, terminology and audience.
