Hitwise measures Canadian internet usage

Clients to get data on 85,000 websites across 160 categories

CANADA-- Experian-owned web measurement firm Hitwise has started tracking internet usage in Canada.

The firm will report on 85,000 websites across more than 160 industry categories based on the activity of 100,000 users.

Client deliverables will include website traffic rankings, clickstream data, search terms and demographic segmentation.

Information is sourced through partnerships with Canadian internet service providers and opt-in panels.

Hitwise also measures internet usage in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
