Futures Company consultant moves to sister company to lead government and public sector work

UK-- BMRB has named Michelle Harrison as managing director of its government and public affairs research division, BMRB Social.

She moves across from the position of head of public sector consultancy at BMRB's WPP Group sister firm, The Futures Company, where she remains a director.

Harrison began working with BMRB in 2007 when she launched the Institute for Insight in the Public Services (IIPS) as a joint initiative of the two agencies.

She still chairs the think tank, which focuses on how public sector bodies can improve the services they provide through engaging with the public.

BMRB chief executive Richard Asquith said: “Quantitative, qualitative and deliberative research is playing an increasingly important role in public life and I am delighted that Michelle is joining us to lead the next stage of our development in this area.”

Bruce Hayward, head of social quant research, and Darren Bhattachary, head of social qual and deliberative research, will report to Harrison.
