Harris Interactive appoints technology chief
US-- Harris Interactive has appointed Richard Scionti as global chief technology officer where he will be responsible for technology innovation and leading the firm's social media research efforts.
Scionti's appointment is part of Harris's organisational restructure that will look to cut costs by streamlining external operations and leveraging technology internally.
He joins from TNS North America where he was vice president of solutions services and was in charge of software development. Scionti has also worked at Research International, Global Market Insite (GMI) and founded his own strategic consulting firm, Timbre Consulting.
