Hall & Partners buys China's Jigsaw

Brand and advertising researcher takes stake in Chinese qual agency

CHINA-- Hall & Partners has acquired a majority stake in Shanghai-based qualitative agency Jigsaw International.

Hall & Partners, which specialises in brand and advertising research, is part of the Omnicom Group's Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division. It said the buy was part of its strategy to extend its reach beyond Europe and the US.

Jigsaw, headed by CEO Kim Beck, is known particularly for its lifestyle and youth insight work.

Global CEO Vanella Jackson said: “We are extremely excited that Jigsaw is joining Hall & Partners. They have built a fabulous reputation in Asia for outstanding work and excellent strategic advice.”
