Future Foundation alumni set new Trajectory

Michael Willmott, Paul Flatters and Chris Farmelo to launch trends forecaster

UK-- Three former Future Foundation and Henley Centre trends experts are joining forces to set up a new forecasting agency called Trajectory Partnership, Research has learned.

The business is being launched next month by Future Foundation co-founder Michael Willmott, its former CEO Paul Flatters and Chris Farmelo, an ex-Henley Centre MD and quantitative analyst with the Future Foundation.

Flatters was until recently managing director of Opinion Leader, a research agency that has made a name for itself running high-profile consultations for the UK government.

He resigned and left the firm on 18 July - a year to the day from when his appointment was first announced.

Opinion Leader could not be reached for comment on whether it was looking to replace Flatters. Its parent company Chime announced first-half results today. Click here for that story.
