Forefront Consulting founders sell up after eight months
Online Testing Exchange (OTX) co-founder Kristin Luck has sold her venture, Forefront Consulting Group, less than eight months after its launch.
The MR services provider – co-founded by another former OTXer Ji Yeong Kim in October last year – has been bought by rival Decipher.
Luck said: “We believe this acquisition creates a tremendous opportunity to expand on the capabilities of both companies by bringing together the services that our respective firms truly excel at – Decipher's programming and hosting services and Forefront's data management and custom development services.”
The combined companies will have 52 full-time employees split across two offices in California – one in Fresno, the other in Hollywood.
Post-acquistion, Decipher is targeting revenues of more than $10m this year. CEO Jamin Brazil said: “This year we have made several strategic moves towards our goal of improved client experience coupled with rapid growth. This acquisition represents another key step in the execution of our strategy.”
Luck has been named president of Decipher, while Kim becomes senior vice president for data management.
