Firm sees Q2 revenue rise 31%
Second quarter revenues at Norwegian software company Future Information Research Management (Firm) rose by 31% year-on-year to $4.6m.
Henning Hansen, CEO for Firm, said: “We are winning new clients in combination with our strong revenue development in the existing client base.”
Revenue in EMEA and North America increased by 38% and 26% respectively.
Turnover for licences and transactions rose by 32% while revenues from consultancy and other interests increased 24%.
Earnings before interest and tax was $301,000 compared to a loss of $215,000 in the second quarter 2005. Profit before tax was $337,000 versus a loss of $215,000.
For the first six months of 2006, revenue stood at $9.4m – a 27% increase on 2005's first half revenue. EBIT was $635,000 versus a loss of $61,000 in the same period last year.
