IRELAND — Dublin-based mobile gaming and analytics firm Swrve has secured a $6.25m investment from Atlantic Bridge Partners and Intel, which it says will lead to the creation of 100 new jobs.

The company says the funding will be used to grow Swrve’s research and development operations in Dublin, including expanding its mobile app analytics and testing platform into other mobile gaming markets.

Swrve was set up in 2010 by Hugh Reynolds and Steve Collins. The duo founded Havok in 1998 and Kore Virtual Machines in 2008. Last year Swrve raised €2.7m in a seed funding round. Its platform allows product teams to test content, messages and flows to tune their games and content.

“This funding round puts us in an outstanding position for growth,” said Reynolds, the CEO (pictured). “We already have a number of blue-chip clients experiencing outstanding return on investment from our product.”

In July iteractive entertainment developer Activision Publishing signed up Swrve New Media to carry out in-game behavioural analysis and A/B testing for its mobile applications.
