US — Rentrak has reported a 35% increase in revenue within its Advanced Media and Information (AMI) business for the three months ended 31 December, its fiscal third quarter.
AMI sales grew from $13.7m to $18.5m year-on-year, thanks to an 84% rise in TV Essentials revenue to $8.4m, an 11% increase in Box Office Essentials revenue to $6.7m, and OnDemand Everywhere sales increasing 10% to $3.4m.
Gross margin within the AMI division increased three percentage points to 63%.
Chief executive Bill Livek (pictured) said: “Rentrak had a fantastic quarter, as the team worked together to sign a significant number of new clients and expand several long-standing client relationships. We are focused on continuing on our current growth path by expanding our suite of census-based products and analytic services that precisely measure movies and TV everywhere.”
