Q3 revenue climbs 17% for IT analyst Gartner

US— IT analyst firm Gartner has reported third-quarter revenue up 17% to $345.8m, with net income up 52% to $30.5m.
Research revenue was up 19% to $256m while the consulting business grew 8% to $70.8m. Events revenue was $19m, up 18%.
Nine-month revenue for the business as a whole was up 15% to $1.04bn.
