NETHERLANDS — Marketing analytics and research firm MetrixLab has reported a 22% increase in annual revenue to €49m.
CEO Han de Groot attributed the firm’s success to a change in strategic direction that is expected to drive further growth in 2014.
“The market research industry needs to broaden its perspective from reliance on survey data to integrating ‘always on’ social data, geospatial data, and newly available data from ‘the internet of things’,” he said. “MetrixLab’s new strategic direction is to move away from exclusive reliance on survey data to become a data source agnostic consumer insights provider.”
