‘Encouraging’ first half for BrainJuicer

Financials UK

UK— Online research agency BrainJuicer saw revenue grow 22% during the first half of 2009, according to a trading statement released today.

The firm said year-on-year growth had been “encouraging despite the harsh economic climate” and that it had added another of the world’s “top 20 advertisers” as a client, meaning it now works for half the companies on that list.

BrainJuicer said that its higher margin products were “continuing to gain client adoption” during the period, and were now responsible for 54% of turnover – up from 47% in the year ending 31 December 2008.

“Good progress” was being made at the firm’s new offices in Germany and Switzerland, BrainJuicer said, and as of 30 June the company had £1.2m in cash and no debts.

The firm saw revenue rise 42% to £9.3m when it reported its full-year figures for 2008 in March. Detailed first-half results are due to be reported on 22 September.
