Creston's revenue down, but better than expected

UK— Research and communications group Creston saw revenues fall by 4% to approximately £80.4m in the year ended 31 March 2010.

Results were “marginally ahead” of the board’s expectations for revenue (which excludes third-party sales costs charged to clients), headline EBITDA, headline EBIT and net debt.

In a trading update prior to the June release of its full results for the year, the group said it had outperformed the sector and increased its market share during the difficult economic period, as well as reducing its debt from £25 million to £16 million.

Creston’s research division includes pollster ICM and Marketing Sciences.
