BrainJuicer’s interim results show profits up

Financials News UK

UK — BrainJuicer reported revenue growth up 4% to £11.2m for the first half of 2014 while operating profits rose 18% to reach £1.5m.

The market research agency said profits before tax increased 17% to £1.5m, compared with £1.3m in the first half of 2013.

John Kearon (pictured), founder and chief juicer, BrainJuicer said: “We’ve seen healthy growth in our Behavioural Science based ‘Juicy’ products reflecting continued underlying progress in our largest clients.Growth overall would have been more significant were it not for a decline in our lower margin qualitative Juice Generation business which is particularly lumpy. While, as always, we have limited revenue visibility, we believe we are on track to meet market profit expectations for the full year and continue to help our clients build famous brands.”
