$20m funding for Chinese digital marketing measurement firm

CHINA— Digital marketing measurement firm Moment Systems has raised US$20m in a series B financing round involving WPP Digital and a number of venture capital groups.

The investment was made in Leading Smart Holdings, which has a controlling interest in the parent company of Moment Systems. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round alongside China Broadband Capital and Redpoint Ventures, which was a series A investor with WPP.

WPP first invested in Moment in July last year. The firm offers ad monitoring and measurement, website evaluation and media planning tools and has a partnership with WPP-owned Millward Brown.
