Ex-RI global chief executive Roger Banks glides into Incite role
London-headquartered Incite Marketing Planning has hired Research International's (RI) former global CEO Roger Banks as managing director.
Since leaving RI earlier this year, Banks has been working as a gliding instructor. Before RI, he worked for research agency BJM and UK bank NatWest.
He replaces previous Incite MD Sid Simmons who has now become chairman of the research consultancy.
Banks told Research: “Incite has a much higher level of senior involvement in projects and problem solving than other agencies which I like.”
He added: “Our future success will now depend on the quality staff we hire and retain.”
At Incite, Banks will be focusing on branding, segmentation and innovation work for IT, telecoms, financial services, utilities and FMCG clients.
The company was founded in 2000 by Simmons and director Elaine Kent-Smith.
Its clients include: ABN AMRO, Camelot, Kimberly-Clark, McKinsey & Co, Virgin, Warner Bros and William Grant & Sons.
