Eduventures sells business research arm to Outsell
US-- Eduventures is selling its business research division to Outsell, to focus on higher education research.
The division, set up in 2000, provides syndicated research to hundreds of companies in the education arena. Outsell, which provides research services to the information industry, said the purchase builds on its 2006 acquisition of Electronic Publishing Services, which serves clients in the education industry among others.
Eduventures president and CEO Tom Dretler said: “As higher education became our clear focus, we needed to find a home for our business research division that would provide our clients with insight, analysis, and customer service that was second to none.”
Outsell co-founder Anthea Stratigos said the firm was proud to incorporate the business into its family of services.
Eduventures' managing vice president Adam Newman, research manager Laurence Bloom and senior analyst Noah Carp will be helping to integrate the new division with Outsell during the transition.
