Edmonds becomes 2CV's UK MD

UK-- 2CV has appointed Doug Edmonds as UK managing director and Tim Blandford as global chief operating officer.

Edmonds takes overall responsibility for the London-based operation, after 10 years leading the quantitative division he set up. Blandford will be responsible for 2CV's international expansion, which began with the recent opening of an office in San Francisco. He will seek to set up hubs in other major business centres, as well as managing strategic acquisitions in the UK.

Company founder Vincent Nolan, who recently became chairman of the board overseeing the research businesses of parent company Cello, said: “Doug's appointment is testament to the phenomenal contribution he has made to 2CV and how much we've grown since our qual hotshop days. Appointing a ‘numbers' man as MD underscores the importance we place on delivering integrated and commercially meaningful research.”
