AUSTRALIA — Dubit has announced its expansion into Australia with the opening of a new office in Melbourne.
The company has hired Adam Schoff as VP of digital strategy for Asia Pacific, who will lead the office.
Schoff, who currently works with the family of the late wildlife expert Steve Irwin, has experience in the development of brand strategy, with a particular focus on kids.
“Adam’s experience of developing and promoting children’s entertainment in this region will be a huge benefit to Dubit and our continued expansion into key regions,” said Dubit CEO, Ian Douthwaite.” More than 70% of our revenue in 2014 came from outside the United Kingdom, in particular from the US, but also from Singapore, China and Australia. Adam will help us to have closer contact with current Asia Pacific clients, and also offer our consulting and digital development services to other great children’s entertainment creators on that side of the world.”
Dubit announced its first office outside the UK last year, with the opening of an outpost in Los Angeles in February.
