CSA to measure out-of-home video advertising

French agency wins contract with out-of-home video body for pilot project

FRANCE-- CSA has been chosen to conduct a pilot audience measurement project for digital out-of-home video advertising.

The contract was granted by APCAD, the association for the promotion of dynamic audiovisual communication, whose members include technology companies, content providers and marketing agencies.

CSA said the system, to be called Digimetrie, will seek to measure and make sense of the viewing of ads on screens in stores and other public places. The agency will be working with consumer behaviour specialist Majority Report to develop behavioural measurements.

The first results from the project are due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2009.
