Cross-Tab builds BRIC panel business

Borderless Access launches with 450,000 panel members

INDIA-- Research and marketing outsourcing firm Cross-Tab has launched an online panel company dedicated to the Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) regions.

Borderless Access, which is headed by president Ruchika Gupta, launched with 250,000 panel members in India, 75,000 each in Brazil and China and 50,000 in Russia.

Cross-Tab migrated its Indian panel over to Borderless Access for the launch while the other three countries were recruited from scratch.

Gupta said the panels are representative of the key internet demographics of the overall internet population in each country and the firm plans to add more members in the future.

Borderless Access will operate independently from Cross-Tab and Gupta told Research the firm has already completed several surveys for clients.
