ComScore gets new chief financial officer

Software industry veteran Kenneth Tarpey takes over from John Green, who moves to talent role

US-- Web measurement firm ComScore has appointed a new chief financial officer and moved incumbent John Green to the role of executive vice president and head of human capital.

Kenneth Tarpey takes over as CFO following stints at software companies ObjectVideo, Ai Metrix, Proxicom and NatSystems.

Chief executive Magid Abraham said Tarpey “will be a valuable asset as our global expansion continues”.

Turning to Green, Abraham said: “John has been a tremendous help in getting the company to be public-ready, leading us through a successful IPO and our debut as a company. In his new role, John will help us maximise the effectiveness of our staff and attract top-notch talent.”

ComScore reported 35% growth in revenue in 2008 to $117.4m. It will publish this year's first-quarter results on 30 April.
