ComScore Europe appoints new MD

UK-- Mike Read has been promoted to senior vice president and managing director of ComScore Europe from vice president of European business development.

He will take responsibility for all commercial activities in the EMEA region and will oversee the firm's offices in the UK and France, as well as new premises in Germany which are set to open later this year.

M:Metrics's European MD Hervé LeJouan had been in the role temporarily following ComScore's acquisition of the mobile media measurement firm in May 2008.

Before joining ComScore in 2004, Read held positions at internet measurement firms NetValue and MMXI Europe.

ComScore president and CEO Magid Abraham said: “With his distinguished record in business development and customer service at ComScore, and wider experience of the research and media sectors across Europe, Mike is in the ideal position to oversee ComScore's international expansion from our European headquarters in London.”
