Civic Science to help charities poll donors

US— Civic Science, a provider of online polling software, has partnered with the maker of the DonorPro online fundraising software to create polls for visitors to charity websites.

The BallotBox software from Civic Science will allow charities to engage potential donors, develop a sense of community on their sites and build profiles of their online audiences.

Donna Myers, president of TowerCare Technologies, the maker of DonorPro, said: “These inexpensive polling and market research applications will allow our non-profit clients to easily collect information on what’s important to their constituency. This information is very valuable for understanding how best to reach out and how best to connect with the community.”

Civic Science showed off its ability to combine polling data with social media earlier this year, with a free tool allowing people to compare their own views to those of members of Congress.
