Ciao's Thornton to lead UK expansion for Cint

SWEDEN-- Richard Thornton, former European managing director of Ciao Surveys, has joined Cint to oversee the Swedish online sample firm's expansion into the UK market.

Cint runs the Cint Panel Exchange (CPX), an online marketplace where researchers and panel providers can buy and sell access to online sample.

Thornton, who is to set up the firm's office in London and recruit support staff, was with Ciao for five years before departing in January. He previously worked for marketing consultancy Cap Ventures.

He said: “I see this as a fantastic opportunity to work with an extremely ambitious company that genuinely wants to change the face of the online research industry.”
