Chime and Huntsworth court Next Fifteen

PR groups in takeover talks with owner of Redshift Research

UK-- PR and research group Next Fifteen is being courted for takeover by two rivals – Chime Communications and Huntsworth.

The group told investors this morning that two approaches had been received and that talks with the suitors were underway.

“It is emphasised that these discussions are preliminary and that there is no certainty that any offer will be forthcoming,” the company said.

Next Fifteen is the owner of Redshift Research – a finalist for best new agency at the Research Magazine Awards last year – and Context Analytics, alongside a host of PR shops including Bite, Text 100, Inferno and OutCast Communications.

Both Chime and Huntsworth also own research businesses alongside their PR assets: Chime's include Opinion Leader, Facts International and Naked Eye, while Huntsworth owns Brand Health International.
