Changes at the top table

A raft of new directorships are announced in the world of MR

Online insight community builder Communispace has appointed PAULA SNEED and JOHN LAUCK to its board of directors. Sneed is the chairman and CEO of Phelps Prescott Group, a strategy and management consulting firm. Previously, she served as executive vice president of Global Marketing Resources and Initiatives for Kraft Foods. She is also a member of the board of directors for Airgas, The Charles Schwab Corporation and Tyco Electronics. Lauck is co-CEO of Mrs. Fields Famous Brands. He joined the company in 2004 from Arby's Franchise Association where he served as president and chief marketing officer.

First Insight, a provider of SaaS product market testing solutions for retail and consumer products, has announced that RICHARD MARCUS is to join its board. Marcus is a senior adviser at investment bank Peter J. Solomon Company and a director of behavioural science software firm 7 Billion People and My Wines Direct. He spent 28 years with Neiman Marcus as CEO from 1979 to 1988.

There have been five new board directors announced at Ipsos. PATRICK ARTUS is a chief economist at investment bank Natixis; MARINA ELOY-JACQUILLAT is group human resources director at ING; GILBERT SAADA is a member of the executive board at investment firm Eurazeo; HUBERT VEDRINE is the head of Hubert Vedrine Conseil and PIERRE LE MANH is global CEO of Ipsos Marketing.
