Carlsberg shares consumer insights with pub owners

Initiative to support pub trade includes access to mystery shopping results

UK-- Carlsberg is giving pub owners in the UK access to consumer insights from a mystery shopping programme, as part of an initiative to help bolster the ailing pub trade.

The brewer's ‘We Deliver More' campaign also provides HR advice, staff training, templates for promotional materials and the ability to send personalised direct mail.

David Scott, head of on-trade customer marketing for Carlsberg UK said: “This represents a big departure for our sales teams. Now, our focus is not on helping customers sell more of our beer, but on helping customers attract more custom full stop.”
